As part of our World Around Us Topic on the Vikings, Rang 5 spent an interesting morning learning about the Vikings in Newry Museum.
We learned about how the Vikings fought, traded & travelled many nautical miles to our shores in search of a better life.
R5 are thoroughly enjoying this topic and this interactive workshop enhanced their learning and brought it to life.
We also researched the topic back at school using Seomra Nuachta and the children had opportunities to comment on their favourite Viking story.
