Thosaigh muid traidisiún nua anseo i mBunscoil an Iúir. Mhaisigh muid sean balla ag bun an chlóis agus d’iarr muid ar na páistí Rang 7 atá le himeacht chun lorg na láimhe s’acu a chur air. Tá cuma iontach air. Míle buíochas le Múinteoir Ciaran agus Kieran an fear faire as an chuidiú.
A new tradition began today in Bunscoil an Iúir. We have decorated an old wall at the bottom of the yard and asked the Rang 7 children who are due to leave to put their handprint on it so we can remember them all as they embark on their exciting journeys to various different schools.
We have to say we are thrilled with the outcome. It looks brilliant and we can’t wait to add to this every year with other Rang 7 classes. We would like to say a massive thank you to Kieran the caretaker who painted the wall and to Múinteoir Ciarán who organised the project.
